Manuscript Preparation

Authors are required to format their manuscripts using the United Scholars Template.

Overview of the Editorial Process

United Scholars Publications provides authors all over the world a fast, efficient, and straight-forward editorial process.  The editorial process is directly supervised by the journal's Editor in Chief who works together with the associate editors to coordinate the peer-review process. The peer reviewers then evaluate the paper and decide whether the work meets the editorial criteria of United Scholars Journals and the scope of the journal to which the paper is submitted to.

After serious consideration by the Editorial Team, a decision email is sent to the corresponding author which conveys the editorial decision based on the accompanied comments (from the reviewers). The possible editorial decisions are:

  • Accept
  • Accept with minor revision
  • Accept with major revision
  • Reject

Paper Acceptance

Upon paper acceptance, the corresponding author will be notified immediately, and manuscript will undergo a final round of proofreading to ensure that it will be efficiently handled by our production team. The authors will then be sent a bill via email queried and allowed to make any final minor revisions that are needed.

If the paper is accepted with minor or major revisions, the author will be granted two months to revise the paper and prepare it for re-submission. The paper will undergo another round of review to make sure that all the comments raised by the reviewers have been addressed and responded to appropriately.

Language Editing and Technical Writing

On many occasions, the technical content of the manuscript is appropriate and accepted for publication, however, the manuscript is returned
for language issues. Since English is the standard language of our journals, non-English native speaking authors are advised to have their manuscripts proofread and checked for grammar and punctuation by a native speaking person(s), or by an editing service company. We at United Scholars have a distinguished English language Editing Team that promises a perfect technical language and formatting to make your
manuscript publication-ready in minimal time. Our service is given at a very reasonable price, in fact the lowest price in the editing industry.
